Welcome to the Chair of Enterprise Systems

Hartmut Höhle joined the University of Mannheim in Fall 2017 and holds the chair of Enterprise Systems. Previously, he was an Associate Professor of Information Systems at the Sam Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas.

The main thrust of his research is to understand how firms can design, implement and use enterprise systems to support employees and service customers. In the past, he has particularly focused on the design of enterprise systems that can be used to deliver services and products through omni-channel environments.

His work has appeared or is forthcoming in MIS Quarterly, European Journal of Information Systems, Journal of the Association for Information Science and Technology, Decision Support Systems, Business & Information Systems Engineering, International Journal of Human-Computer Studies, and others. His teaching experience has occurred at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels and he has taught courses in Enterprise Systems, Accounting Information Systems, Electronic Commerce, Management of Information Technology and Emerging Business Technologies.
